Arrival in Hamburg by plane

You can reach the city centre via public transportation or by taxi.
Public transport: To get to the central station where you can reach all rapid transit and underground lines as well as the major bus lines, take the rapid transit line S 1 in direction from the airport to Hauptbahnhof (central station). It takes about 25 minutes, one-way ticket is 2.85€.
If you want to get to the conference site right away, it’s most comfortable to go to Dammtor station. Change at Hauptbahnhof to S 11, S 21 or S 31. From there it’s just a short walk (about 2minutes).
If you choose to take a taxi, travel time, depending on traffic, is about 20 minutes, and it should cost around 25€.

Arrival in Hamburg by train

If you arrive in Hamburg by train, get off at Hamburg-Dammtor. From there you can reach the conference site by foot (a short 2 minute-walk). If your train does not stop at Dammtor, get off at the central station and change there to rapid transit line S 11, S 21 or S 31, which stop at Dammtor Bahnhof.
